How does one become a part of The Sacred Music Society?

The requirements to join the choir include the ability to sing, sight-read sheet music and have a positive learning attitude. You don't have to look far in the Sacred Music Society's loft to find people from almost every trade and profession. You'll come across secretaries, computer professionals, students, homemakers, teachers, nurses and bankers, to name a few. All share a tremendous gift for music coupled with a love and a desire to share it with others. Choir members dedicate a significant amount of their time to rehearsing, recording, touring and performing together. The Choir accepts applications for new singers anytime throughout the year, and conducts membership drives the first weeks of June and September every year. The first step of the audition process includes a range test, sight-singing test and solo portion.
